Hello, I'm Marie!

I'm the artist and writer behind Rebug's Rhythm. Based in the Pacific Northwest, I create mixed media pieces inspired by the landscape I call home; where the forest meets the sea.

Named after my childhood nickname, ReBug, my work is centered around finding the beauty and whimsy of the Earth and returning to the childlike wonder that can often be overlooked - embracinig Rebug's rhythm.

I also run a Substack where I write about the creative process, slow living, and spirituality. There you will also find my monthly newsletter, Full Moon Musings, sent out each month on the full moon.

I am currently working on illustrations for my first children's book, Doug the Fir Tree, that is set to be published in 2026. If what I'm creating speaks to you I hope you'll stick around!
